Rajit Punshi is one of the leading practitioners and thought leaders in the Operational Risk industry, with over 12 years of extensive, hands-on and direct experience in Operational Risk Management, out of a banking career of over 21 years. Rajit has extensive understanding and knowledge of Operational Risk frameworks, capabilities and infrastructure. As Head Operational Risk Policy & Process, Rajit successfully led a leading international Banking Group to Basel 2 compliance. Rajit has done extensive work at a global industry level with leading regulators like the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) where he was on the Expert Working Groups set up post the Financial Crisis to review Operational Risk. He was a Board member of the Operational Risk Exchange (ORX), the world’s largest association for Operational Risk and is currently their Asia Representative.
